This garment challenges the misconception that the visually impaired community does not engage with fashion, transforming clothing into a medium for dialogue and inclusivity. Designed by Mandy in collaboration with visually impaired individuals, it embodies their stories, needs, and perspectives.

The life-sized, dramatically oversized jacket and towering pants create an arresting visual presence, giving voice to a community often overlooked. Riveted Braille descriptions and hand-embroidered poetry invite tactile exploration, allowing both sighted and visually impaired audiences to connect with the garment.

Crafted from durable denim for everyday wear, the piece features rivet-based Braille to highlight the importance of accessible garment information. On the back of the jeans, Moon Braille poems - echoing the first known form of Braille—celebrate the lived experiences and voices of the visually impaired community.
